Do you know if giving dividends will in anyway thwart the suspected shorting? One or two posters said no, but someone I know is having serious problems with people shorting his stock so he is working out a way to offer dividends as a remedy. Why does he think that will work in his case but I've been told it will have no effect here.
And why isn't UC hollaring about the shorts, or is he and I just haven't heard him.
With whatever it is that's going on in the market system that is having such an adverse effect (I think it's illegal NSS too btw)....it seems to me the pinks arn't being effected as hard by it all as the octbbs.
Perhaps....because they don't have to report....the unknowns help somewhat in keeping the buzzards away.
I've thought if this is the situation....and I do think it is possible....anyway....if this is the situation I think one of the SEC's next moves will be to do away with the pinks. Reason being...the pinks are using the SECs rules in their favor and it's working against the MMs.
Of course I think the SEC will say they're doing it for the protection of the individual retail investors. If so....I'll say BS ;)
