Yes... To which I will add...

I don't know how you EFFECTIVELY sell Wave's stuff direct. You're in Dell's boxes. And that's your channel opportunity here in the States, at least. Do you go AROUND the Dell network and try to sell Dell accounts? You could, I guess. Do you try to sell into NON-DELL accounts? Nope.

But it still comes down... at least when we're talking about TPM lifecycle management and leveraging TPMs... to getting folks on-board with turning TPMs on.

Guys, I've spent months now exchanging ideas with leading security folks in government and in private industry. And I can tell you that THEY view TPMs as ANOTHER SOURCE of complexity at a time when their budgets are constrained, CEOs are giving LIP SERVICE to security while saying to IT and Security folks "Do more with less"--and, by the way, IF you think CEOs are spending sleepless nights worrying about a breach, bulletin: NO, they're more worried about making quarter--and COMPLEXITY is viewed by most savvy security folks as the ENEMY of protection. Period.

Now, turn your attention to SEDs and the story... because I've been running it by very smart and technically adept folks... is different... better. It's the deepest level of protection they can deploy. It's seen somewhat as EYEWASH to help "get out of jail free" IF their policies about keeping super-sensitive information off of loose laptops aren't obeyed. It's EASY. It's OBVIOUS. It's not HUGELY expensive compared to other encryption schemes, i.e. software.

Maybe Navy needs to know that "Loose laptops sink ships."

Best Regards,

Ramsey....right on, I always said I'd prefer 1000 customers with 100 seat each than one with 100k seats.
Things are moving....
