MY OPINION IS NAME BRANDING.......

I believe they are doing this to continue to spread the CMKX name as a form of branding.

As the card will be used by shoppers, the CMKX card will be more and more recognized and hence, spreading the word about CMKX diamonds.

My guess is that Urban intends on branding the CMKX name in several different areas, and this is a way to advertise, and maybe make a few bucks doing so.

I'm not sure I agree with these side ventures, but I am fairly confident that this venture is Urbie's way to try to brand the CMKX name and spread the word for the diamonds to come!
