I think Giardi is also getting past the I'm your friend manager and being just the manager.I liked the one sided conversation he had with Andy the other night. You can tell he was not happy that Andy was being to watchful of the base runner. I wouldn't say he was yelling at Andy but he seemed like his voice level was a bit higher and he ever acted a bit annoyed. I don't mind they let Melky take a seat at the begining of the season having thought that he lost his starting job.He was dreadful last year. Same with Cano's benching. Phil Hughes, He will not pitch for AAA ever again unless it is for Rehab after getting hurt. He will not get sent back down. Hughes is very mature even for his still young age but I think he had alot of pressure put on him and the saviour and he threw to hard to act like it and hurt himself. He worked hard this off season.
