I don't think there will be a lot of time to average down. This lovely butt-hump-on-the-surface deal wasn't agreed to without knowledge of the final payout.
The plaintiff's have a minimum price and buyer lined up, probably Woodside. There are posters scratching their heads wondering why this settlement didn't address the Woodside farm out. To me it looks like Woodside was given a free pass in the settlement (okay, not free, $1M, whoopee) because they are going to be part of THE settlement.
This isn't over, IMO.
