I did see this the first time around and found it to be some very interesting and compelling circumstantial evidence. One would think that if the SEC is, or will be, doing some serious investigation into naked shorting, this statistic should be enough of a red flag to draw their attention.
Zen, back on the other subject again. While I agree that there is no absolute need to release specific O/S information concurrent with the August 20 record date, I would be somewhat surprised if it wasn't released by then or shortly therafter, because as soon as we know what number of shares we are to receive individually, it's an easy calculation to get to the issued and outstanding.
