While I can't say for sure

I am pretty sure that he had posted the double-short, double-cover thingy beofere he went to the races

The fact that he went to the races this weekend, and when he came back he immediately told people this double short theory..

I haven't really looked closely at it but it sure looks like a complicated explanation for averaging down over time.

i`ve heard others talk about makeing deals with MM`s would`nt that be inside information and very risky if MM`s would want to shut down CMKX , Glen would`nt alow that.

funk, I too thought sterlings double theory was pure lunacy! If he did go to the races, he must have inhaled too many fumes!

I do not know if sterling was actually privy to some "not generally known" information in the past, but I do believe if Urban had been letting anything out in the past, Glenn has now muzzled him. This leads me to believe either:

1) Sterling was not really at the race and created this himself to cover that up.
2) Sterling was there, but Urban was not talking, so sterling wanted something to say.
or
3) This was a plan concocted by Glenn and Urban to make the shorts think that the general shareholders and company are too confused to ever get out of this short. If true, this could help Glenn and Urban sneak the final death blow in.

Take your pick, it could be any of the three.

Sterling doesn't get it.He is good at financial fiction writing for the uninformed reader.He has exposed his ignorance of the financial world.He is a great person and deserves to be educated.I'm sure Roger Glenn has contacted the proper authorities as well as the MM's and is working out a realistic solution.Sterling is wrong about many things but he has it right when it comes to the great opportunity in CMKX.50 cents is in the cards if not much more!

casmir funk: I agree with much you say regarding the craziness of this double-short theory. The only thing I will disagree with is that Sterling concocted his theory before the Denver race.
