but TDA released a letter saying they were aware the stock was getting manipulated. so it wouldn't go from firms like TDA saying RCCH is getting scr*wed to RCCH is doing the scr*wing.

I use TDA, have to call in the buys, but never ever have any problem.

That is if you believe BS then yes that is Scottrades answer. Then you have other brokerages just as big maybe bigger see nothing wrong with RCCH. Don't forget the investors that ask for certs and scottrade can't seem to come up with them.. Hey who cares about little things when scottrade does something it just has to be to help the investor or something wrong with the company haha. Even though they can't come up with certs for the investors shares. Just all interesting. imo

That simply isn't true. Go to Charles Schwab, and they will sell you shares all day long, on any stock.

frog,

Why would any broker need to warn investors about a stock which may be being manipulated, or a scam, when there are multitudes of persons outside the brokerage houses more than willing to sound the alarm.

"lawsuits will fly in every possible direction" ???

By whom? Investors who plunked down a few hundred bucks on a lotto play? Even those few investors, who are in this a little deeper, wouldn't create "lawsuits flying in every direction"

"Brokers want to be able to show that they were not only uninvolved but made a clear effort to dissuade their customers from making foolish mistakes"

Really? When I signed up with my broker, I had to sign a statement that the investment decisions I made were MY responsibility, not the broker's.

Also, my broker did not "make a clear effort to dissuade me...from making foolish mistakes". I asked several times why I had to phone in. The answer: We've had problems with people accessing our customer's accounts illegally. I wouldn't say that's telling me clearly that I may be making a foolish mistake.

Scottrade and Nite are run by the same guy...Nite is the most unethical MM around. Why the discrepancy?
