If people are getting worked into a frenzy thinking they'll be paid out on Tuesday because of someone's posts, then some of them are likely to sell on Wed, Thursday, or Friday if nothing happens.
No one said EVERYONE is buying because of Bopfan, but people of the boards being led to believe payment is imminent are likely to get disgusted.
No one people are only buying because of Bopfan or that people will only sell if FC doesn't happen. But that doesn't mean some haven't bought and some won't sell.
I would hate like hell to see someone sell out of disgust because they were worked into an ecstatic frenzy that didn't pan out, only to see WMI get control of the cash and the NOLs, thus screwing those people out of the subsequent rise in pps.
We're all adults here though... you guys are free to think as you wish. And those that sell for whatever reason are probably going to regret it later.
As for FC, I would stand to make a good deal of money from such a payout, but banking on it being an airtight case against the FDIC is insanity.
