All figures are dollars. None of those figures in that table represent anything but dollars. IMHO, those figures all represent dollars.

Got me, but that NUMBER NEVER CHANGED FROM ONE PERIOD TO THE NEXT. Could be "BOOKED VALUE" for the shares that was established years prior?

It is dollars, as in the value of the shareholders equity.

That amount represents the Equity that the common shares hold and it is in dollar amount.

Look at the line above showing the Preferred Stock. We already know that the Preferred has a book value of 3 billion for the P and 500 million for the K. This is roughly equivalent to the 3.39 billion listed for the preferred.

Whoever is saying it is not dollars don't know how to read a balance Sheet. It is dollars.

Here is a link to the last quarterly report (10Q). If you look on page 2, what does it say on the line "Capital surplus – common stock". Now look at line just above that, how many shares are authorized?
