IF the Dell rumor is true (big if), it signal very high confidence in AMD's 90nm process, as nearly their entire product line is switching over to it in the 3rd Q.

Keith, you may well be right; it's just the old adage ringing in my ears - "once bitten, twice shy." And with the Dell rumors, it's more like 10 times bitten! But you are right that the situation is vastly different now.
I do have to wonder whether from AMD's perspective, Dell is the best partner to be courting now, or if others are serving /would serve AMD's purposes better.
