Magilla was obviously referring to the Siemens connection and the $7M IDCC reported from a mfr that has discontinued making handsets; she wasn't specifically talking about BenQ. She was only pointing out that BenQ had taken on Siemen's handset business for a period of time before shutting it down completely.

I don't know if Siemens ever paid IDCC much of anything let alone had a $7M credit to their account with IDCC or not, but if so, magilla may be on to something.
