OT - Capitalist - at least third party manipulation would be eliminated (individual investors will always try to manipulate the system by setting High sell prices and Low buy prices).

It would also elimanate "shorting" of any kind, since buys and sells are matched in the price queue on a FIFO (first in/first out at that price match) basis.

It would also eliminate the level 1, 2 and 3, replacing it with one real-time quote system.

To some extent it exists: the ECNs only match orders.

I would favor something like that; it would be an objective system that wouldn't lend itself to manipulation.
