Great morning Burk and the rest of the board....

Hey Burk, maybe open up a lil and tell all how ya
really feel....like be more honest, more descriptive
and more Oprah like...man, get some emotion into
those diatribes, stop holding back.....fat boy from
Vallejo and leeches, jerks and horrrrible embarrassments..
hahaha.....be daring and live a little, open up and
let er rip.
You must be a Twins fans, who spend $184 on payroll,
$27.50 on the baggie wall maintainance, and dream
of Rod Carew, Tony Oliva, and Harmon Killebrew making
a comeback.....actually Burk, the Twins have a very good,
hard hitting, hustling team, and despite the Yanks
shortcomings and a bloated payroll, they have chosen
a different biz model, and one despite the playoff
and WS failures, has been highly profitable and more
suitable for New York than the Twins model.
Now, the Yanks have shed a ton of payroll, from players
that were either zero contributors like Pavano, and
others like Giambi who will find greener pastures.
With the new stadium coming on line they need to make
a splash, with some glitz and glitter to draw fans,
and keep their TV network juggernaut pumping those
greenbacks, much like Jerry Jones and his Trillion
dollar Cowboys need to do.
Have a great weekend Burk, and maybe rent that Anger
Management movie with Deniro this weekend, and have
a laugh.....peace out.

That's just plain silly.

Burk. I don't like Yankees management either.
I was hoping they'd stock their farm teams with some good players.
Pick a few out of there and develop them on the fast track.
I get really tired of the whole buy a team routine.

PL1 does have a point with new stadium and I bet higher prices with the economy they need something that will renew the fans interest. I don't think they need as much as they think they do though. I think some fans are tired of buying player after player and would rather build a team through the farm system or prospects.

1. I find your remarks to Yankee fans to be the exact opposite of your profile comment.

2. I think your remarks are rude.

3. In order for you to make those comments about Yankee fans you'd have to know each one. At least the ones on the hub.
I highly doubt you do which means your comments are based on anger not facts.

Just for argument sake if you do know them do they control management? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Summary.............

Enough of calling Yankee fans losers, leeches, etc.
That is a down right STUPID statement.

Excuse me there Burk, But did the Twins win the world Series and I miss it? I think you have anger issues that you need to address with some medication and if you are already on that medication then I say up your dose pal.
Now, Excel runs a class board here, we don't always agree with each on here and in some reguards we do agree. But we do so in a intelligent way which I see you were not aware of and in a respectful way which I see your lacking in that to. The Twins are a class team. You should try using that class.
