The 4.4 is a done deal...it's like a plea bargain...both sides have agreed...just needs a signature...hence, all the articles today stating they will have control of their money again...

I just can't see why this is a mystery to anyone...

There is absolutely no reaon the Judge would not rule in Wamuq's favor here IMHO the money lawfully belongs to Wamu. If JP Morgan could get away with stealing Wamu's account money they could probably steal all of Wamu's customer's accounts and claim it as their own too but that would be ridiculous. I look for this to be settled in Wamu's favor soon.

I saw in passing this morning a link to a Motion filed regarding the $4.4 Billion assets. I glanced it over, but as I recall the Motion stipulated, i.e., agreed, by both interested parties, the Debtor (Washington Mutual) and JP Morgan, that Washington Mutual would be given not only ownership of, but access to, the funds in question. The Hearing date for formal approval is set for October 20, however, there being no dispute, it is merely a formality.

I have not been able to find that link again. If someone can post it please, I would like to read the Motion more carefully than I did this morning (before I was all that interested in WAMUQ).
