IMO , because IDCC has already licensed their CDMA patents so why drag them into the courts? Nec and Sharp have licensed them and a rate has been established with them. The Tantivy patents have never been licensed so if IDCC can make Lucent license them it would be a great start. As far as LG goes IDCC has yet to provide some guidance on that issue. Hopefully they might be one of the companies that IDCC claims to be at the economic stage with.
