I sell at the ASK all the time, Buy on the bid, you need to change brokers and get level 2 so you can see for yourself. glty

These really are great questions. You can sell at the ask. I have done this many times and always monitor time & sales. The sale will show as green... It will look like a buy. As great as this sounds, I never like selling at the ask, because as soon as the shares go through at the ask, I know I just made a mistake. The stock moves higher.
