Right, I understand that but what i meant is that the sell order will not fill until the ask becomes the bid price. Even if I put my sell order in at whatever the current ask is, it will not execute until the price actually becomes the bid right? Surely an MM is not going fill my sell at .0020 if the bid is .0017. The original poster made it sound as if i could sell at the ask, (non-bid) price.
