i don't think any broker is freely trading the stock though.....

SWVC did this when it changed from GSCR in a reverse merger

heck, some investors JUST PLAY NAME CHANGES and symbol changes for this reason.....the previously owned shares will lock for about 2-3 days as they recieve the new shares and now you have a majority of the float pretty much restricted and non-trading

the price will 99.99% of the time go up because of this
