#159028 RE: goin fishn #159027

Goin'... I'm with you...

There are plenty of reasons, in my opinion, to be optimistic.

Real product. Real need. Real advertising with Wave named in the copy. (With Wave not having to spend a RED CENT for the promotion.) Real SIGNIFICANT partners committed to the success of the product. A real relationship with Seagate that dates back now something like four years... or certainly three. A strong and apparently strengthening relationship with Dell.

To hear the critics, Wave is the gang that can't shoot straight. Of course, the critics are a bit jaundiced and tech-tarded.

And everyone's REAL tired. (I'm not. Too many other good things happening to keep my batteries charged and recharged.)

Alea has long said "broad but shallow" to describe early FDE purchases/adoption. I think that is a reasonable and accurate view of what is happening. Translation: LOTS of small-quantity deals and trials with major organizations... private sector and government.

Best Regards,

goin fishin ~ agreed. But I feel that Steven and Wave Systems holds the key to that balance. Not us. We have members who believe that Wave is like fine wine ~ that it'll be ready when it's time. And then we have some (like me) who believe that Wave needs to do some things to the magnitude, or within the timeline they imply ~ execution according to plan or stated timeframes.

Either way, we all want the same thing in the end....

Revenues, cash-flow-breakeven, profitability, and finally ~ wide scale adoption. When we see any one of those start happening at some significant volumes ~ we will all be very well balanced after that
