Gibber - I believe you are quoting, or at least assuming, Ice Man's comments to those who call him asking for information, are correct. That is a dangerous and misleading assumption. Unless the company publicly announces an earnings release date, or any information, anything one hears is just hearsay.
In the case of Barry Davis one has to consider that the man has shorted the stock, has proven to be consistently wrong with his predictions and statements. It should be evident to ALL he has the company has nothing to do with him.
Yes, he has stated the price of the stock will fall - Anyone can look at the chart and see that until it breaks a major resistance line the stock will continue to fall - He's no genius in that regard.
But look at his history of statements and how he has mislead others:
Major buyers are coming in. (3 - 4 months ago)
Carlos Sims group is going to break the shorts (1 - 2 months ago)
Sims attorney called the brokers to tell them to cease and desist the shorting. (1 month ago)
The price of the stock will be $20 in a few weeks, (Since August)
And, during the months that all those statements were made he kept selling his stock.
Now he claims to know the company's earning release date, the bank that is financing them, and other "insider" information. And you and others are reposting that information on the boards.
A word of caution, be very careful of the information you hear and repost on boards. You of all people value the concept of a disclaimer. I recommend, in all fairness, that when you post such information that you make it public that the information regarding expected earning dates, etc be followed with a disclaimer from you that the information did not come from any member of management in NNRI. If, in fact it did, then I think it appropriate to identify who in the company office provided the information to you or anyone else.
