Fly Fisher-

The rate from the media kit rate card you attached that applies to the Dell Businessweek ad is the 4th cover (back cover), which is the most expensive single page at over $140,000 full rate ($135,000 in 2007).

This is assuming the ad appears in their global edition. Businessweek also sells national and U.S. regional edition ads, but I doubt Dell limited it to just a few regions. It certainly looks to be the start of a significant marketing commitment.

Fly Fisher--no wonder those guys were fighting over the copy of Business Week today. When I went in to meet my 12:40 pm haircut appointment today I was a little early. What do you do when you early? You look over the old magazines. Maybe there will be one you haven't at least scanned. Well, sure enough, there was a fresh copy of Business Week. A Google guy on the cover. H'mmm. dated Dec 2007. Whoops, a guy grabbed the magazine out of my hand. My barber yelled at him to give it back. What the HEL# is so special about that magazine? There have been two wrestling matches already today about the magaine. I sat down in his chair. He said, put the damn thing under your apron and take it with you when you leave. OK, I said as I turned to back cover and smiled real big. Now I know why everybody was fighting. A $100,000 ad. You don't see that too often.
