SPIN: a number of things:

(1) On supposed nonresponsiveness: I responded to the posts about the dot.mil page on December 29.

(2) Not feeling like citing your source is the same as not having one.

(3) If not for bugs, then what? Read my post. Do you have any idea how often the DoD iteratively revises its specs?

(4) The so-called "hidden text" that grabs the attention of search-engines is called a meta-tag. By now there must be some descendant generation of the "technology." It is a perfectly legitimate and very widely used tool of the net and is as old as the search-engine, itself.
