Unfortunately we've come to the point where undocumented fantasys like VW installing Argo/MCCY equipment in every vehicle doesn't impress any longer. Documented facts are required.

this is pure comedy.

VW, does a deal with a tiny company to install units on all of their 2008 models in Mexico...pure comedy man.

Did VW just install the units on the assembly line? what was the homologation process? did they check ARGO/ECN/MCCY financials as part of their due diligence. hahaha...

Give it a rest man, those deals are reserved for the Motorola's, Siemens VDO and Continental AG's of the world - yeah TIER 1 suppliers!!! YOU MUST BE A TIER 1 SUPPLIER TO GET ON TEH ASSEMBLY LINE!!!...not some little flea that couldn't come up with the coin to order the modems needed. nice try...15 cent pink sheet company lands an assmebly line deal with VW - hilarious!

This is my first post on this board but have been watching this board for a few weeks. I am in the trucking business and have been involved in Satellite tracking systems for at least 15 years. I find the post amusing and full of inaccuracies on both sides. I have been concerned why MCCY would post government agencies as customers but according to the following press release from today, The FMCSA will be contracting with one of the Satellite Tracking companies to monitor Mexican trucks coming into the US and US trucks in Mexico.

FMCSA to Track Mexican Trucks
Agency to Use Satellite Systems

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration said Thursday it would be tracking Mexican trucks participating in a cross-border trucking program with satellite technology.

The agency said it planned to issue a contract “to provide satellite terminals for the near real-time tracking of commercial trucks traveling throughout the continental U.S. and Mexico . . . at no cost to the participating trucking companies.”

FMCSA Administrator John Hill said the tracking will allow the agency to monitor the carriers for safety violations and violations of cabotage rules.

U.S. trucks traveling in Mexico will also be tracked, FMSCA said. There was no announcement for when the contract would be issued.
