Wow! I'm very glad she's doing so well...as I know you and David are too.
It's not a bad thing to think she wasn't going to be around...it's what happens...it's what you were prepared for. I'm guessing she was probably prepared for it too and might be just as surprised and you guys are.
Maybe you'll have to get her some new furniture? Or put an addition on the house and let her decorate it anyway she wants?
I'd say just take it day by day and do whatever is necessary to make her comfortable and happy...within reason of course LOL!
I'm really glad you're getting to have some good times with her! Has the rest of the family gotten any better?
