I have seen several discussions about this question. Given your research can you determine and perhaps show me the certifications for the TPM itself. I ask this because it is my understanding that it is being mandated by the government despite not being certified.

Jay Signor, it's my understanding the TPM is not FIPS 140-2-certified either, and that's being adopted in all sorts of FIPS-140-2-can-be-relevant places.

Furthermore, I believe a number of non-FIPS 140-2 technologies have been adopted in places that look at FIPS 140-2. I am not knowledgable enough on this to say what, but I do believe it's happened.
