they know that the Q1 numbers are bad and that the price will slowly drift down over time because of the ongoing slog and there won't be a lot of money to pay people, sooooo they'd better go get those options now before it would have to be presented in a worse light down the road.

Still waiting to hear the spin out of the company on this.
