What I thought is interesting is the hard connection between Caisse d'Epargne's ID-Tronic and the 3D-Secure technology adopted by Visa and MasterCard. This is really new to me; Maybe the board already knew that. Silly me!
If the tech is good for Caisse d'Epargne's ID-Tronic it's good enough for Visa and MasterCard!
I have this inkling that the development between Wave and Caisse d'Epargne ID-Tronic may have very, very serious ramifications for the TCG and the consumer space.
Imagine if the banks were to start pulling "vanilla"?
Caveat: This technology still does not address two factor authentication ...
Doma or AWK. Can we do this with a dongle approach and sell the public via an infomercial??? I would do anything to have this now and not later. Two questions. Thanks
Something else good about ETS middleware for applications like Caisse d'Epargne's ID-TRONIC is that it will be interoperable across all brands of TPMs. Won't matter whether the trusted PC has an Infineon, Atmel or NSM TPM, they will all work for any ETS application.
