Hmmm, trademark infringement, interesting. One of us should look into that. Perhaps by putting the LAN in all caps, the French VideoLAN avoids an infringement on Videolan Technologies Inc., which appears to have been established first. Just a thought. I must say, that from the first time I started looking into VLNT, I thought it odd that there was this ubiquitous VLC player from VideoLAN and an apparent plethora of patents from VLNT. I have wondered if there isn't some type of infringement possibility here.
