If e.Digital were getting the revenue for the manufacturing as well (as in the Softeq and APS deals), now that would add very significant revenue. But it was not to be.

Now see. That's the kind of duplicity that gets everyone riled up.

When you talk about the F10 deal you always bring up the fact that e.Digital has to pay for the manufacturing so there's not going to be any money left after that. Now with this deal you say "too bad they didn't get the manufacturing".

New topic: I've got a bunch of shares. What's your opinion on when I should sell them?

As I said yesterday, I assume that e.Digital met with Gateway since it is local. For whatever reason, Gateway choose to go direct to am OEM and not go through e.Digital.

Is it just me, or did the above not make any sense? Which is your opinion? gateway dealt with EDIG first, or the OEM? As long as we're spouting opinions again, I happen to believe that Gateway did bring EDIG the business directly, because the O1K proved the tehcnology, but mandated using an Asian OEM they already deal with, to insure consistent quality control.

Fact remains, Cassie, that Gateway obviously didn't buy a pig in a poke. They darn well knew who would be providing the technology to the OEM and decided to go with EDIG rather than Creative, Sonic Blue, or any of the others. That may not suit your purposes, but it's a stone cold fact that no amount of spinning can obscure.

Cassandra..you don't know and can not say how the deals were made, how long they took to make, or why they were made the way they were. To make such assumptions is ludicrous.

As I stated yesterday, it is much better off for e.Digital to have licensed to the manufacturing OEM for future business with other branders than to have exclusively made a deal with Gateway simply to contract out the manufacturing.

Cassy-PROVE that Gateway would not or did not "deal' with e.Digital.
You make assumptions without factual support. Who, what, where and when FACTUALLY do you rely on for your bald assumptions?
