Well, it's been reported here that the market makers follow Georges posts. It's possible Blackrock,etal do the same.

They’re all index tracking funds. They track the Russell 2000 index. These are not actively managed funds. They own AVXL because AVXL is in the Russell 2000. It would be a mistake to draw any conclusions good or bad.
