Agree 100%. This court case was hand waving and conjecture with no shot in hell, and yet another way to rally the retail. But all for show as you said. They will milk this acceptance period blaming anyone under the sun ala the submission process redux, and once it actually accepted. The show will have a definitive time frame and the black swan will occur on the decision announcement. If you are an unfortunate soul looking for a pump to exit, it might be close to the actual Acceptance and the run to the decision FWIW.
