Don't see any mention of Gazans demonstrating against Hamas, however, at all. (see Global Protest Tracker, Carnegie Endowment for Peace)

what did you expect from population that's 50% under twenty years old and has been locked in a cage under totalitarian rule for 16 years. Can you say "radicalized"?

oh, and our domestic American politics mean the world right now. Do you want to see our government shut down? No funding for anything including your beloved Israel? Our own children suffering. Maybe you're happy with that but I, for one, am not.

Deflect, divide and disinformation is all the GOP has left and I am on my last thread with them. They are trying to anoint a 91 count accused felon, already convicted financial fraudster and rapist as a king. Does that scare you in the least little bit?

I don't know about you but I don't live in Israel, I live here in Bridgeview IL and care much more for what's going on around here instead of bloviating about someone else's miserably failed foreign policy that led to a war that we will be eventually sucked into. I hope you are happy where ever the heck you're at.

I agree Jews should not be conflated with Israel. Unfortunately so many non Jews do. - "This is the problem with conflating Israel with Jews..." I agree no Jew who is not actively supporting Israel should be pressured about Israel. Anyone, period, Jew or not, who doesn't see the Zionist problem deserves to be questioned about that.

My asking you whether or not you felt Jews were actually a God-chosen people was either a bit tongue-in-cheek or because i didn't know for sure. I'll assume you are one of the ones to whom religion is not that important:

2. Jewish identity and belief
Religion is not central to the lives of most U.S. Jews. Even Jews by religion are much less likely than Christian adults to consider religion to be very important in their lives (28% vs. 57%). And among Jews as a whole, far more report that they find meaning in spending time with their families or friends, engaging with arts and literature, being outdoors, and pursuing their education or careers than find meaning in their religious faith. Twice as many Jewish Americans say they derive a great deal of meaning and fulfillment from spending time with pets as say the same about their religion.

Also, off and on i and others here have been telling you: "And it's just as bad to conflate Hamas with the Palestinians, or so it seems." .. since Day 1.

If you haven't read in more places than one that not all Gazans agree with Hamas then you are missing much.

Gazans elected Hamas over Fatah when they determined that decades of Fatah working with Zionists and USA and others were never going to get them an independent state as they had been promised in the British Mandate deal in '48. And repeatedly since.

That's roughly as i see it. Only my impression.

Am assuming you have read my posts on the problem Zionists also have in the West Bank.

What to expect when they continue to steal more land every year. All the continuing settlement in the West Bank is illegal under international law. You would be aware of that.
