delerious, context is key here.
SAG-AFTRA and WGA unions are on strike
against the AMPTP collective bargaining group of the major studios.

afaik, MTP/MIKP is not part of AMPTP.
thus, mark is free to negotiate directly with the SAG-AFTRA and WGA unions,
and by doing so, mark would not be crossing the SAG-AFTRA and WGA picket lines,
because he would be negotiating with the people striking,
not the studio conglomerates being struck.

to be clear, this is not a new thought,
per the multiple articles i linked in my prior post.

mark might not want to step on the toes of the AMPTP titans,
but logically, per the articles cited,
it could be in MIKP's best interests
to negotiate directly with the unions presently
thereby connecting mark with higher quality and brand name talent
than MIKP might otherwise attract.

ie: could be a major win for MTP/MIKP
if quality actors seeking work asap
(actors gotta pay bills, too)
decide to sign onto _wish_ just to get back to work.

and, given the strikes are top-line national news,
the resulting negotiations could bring many more eyes nationally and globally to MTP/MIKP
via media coverage of the non-AMPTP contracts.

which could bring some of that elusive hype to the MIKP ticker
that many here are clamoring for. 😉

It’s so cute that people think the strike has ANY impact on MIKP. lol.
