I agree with you that there is no proof that they are in good financial standing. Unless the December 31, 2014 financial statements are completely false, they had assets of 19.9mm and net assets of 12.8mm so I don't think the amount owed to creditors would have hurt them financially. Also, wouldn't any outstanding judgements show up in court documents? Are there any?

Also, you are right that the last 8 years are a big mystery. If they have done things improperly or illegal, it won't come to light unless someone or some entity takes them to court. We just need to see some current financials.
