Oh, we season our food well. The oldest one does it out of habit, I think, and the youngest does it because they genuinely like salt, which is SUPER weird to me but to each their own.
I do make them work for their sodium, though. The salt shaker lives in the kitchen by the stove, where it belongs. 😉

I inherited the habit from my dad. Surprisingly my BP is so low now I get compliments from my doctors. It used to be off the charts when I was working.
Another surprising thing is as much salt as I think I ingest my sodium levels are always below normal when I have blood tests. Go figure.
You use far less salt while cooking than you do will if you're adding at the table. Properly seasoned food isn't salt flavored unless you go overboard on the salt.
