#107112 RE: TenKay #107106

tenkay, re: "Mark has no money and can’t get money."

given your insistence on your credits "fact"
and this comment,
you obviously know nothing about
how the film industry works.

i'll save the effort of even searching back thru my posts on this:

[[ note that typical film profit-sharing contracts
for feature film projects
do not involve per-project executive producers
getting shares of the parent studio's stock.

if they did,
then public film companies like lionsgate (LGF.A)
would be constantly diluting and doing reverse splits
for every new project.
which, empirically, and verifiably, they do not.

film projects are typically run as
ad hoc per-project business entities,
with profit-sharing contracts defined per-project
within the project's biz context,
with the parent studio (ie: MIKP in this case),
being one stakeholder in the profit sharing agreement. ]]

and...

[[ lucky, btw, if you don't think mark will structure _wish_, _vampy_, etc...
the same way i describe,

note that _beyond white space_ was produced
via an ad hoc shell, "White Space Productions,"
as the project-specific profit-sharing vehicle btwn
colucci (spokelane), locsmandi (filmworks/FX), and mark (arowana/MIKP).

this is how hollyweird works,
both for legal and tax reasons.

in the case of _wish_,
mark will likely find an exec producer (aka: investor)
who funds the film in exchange for profit-sharing agreement
in which the exec prod finances the budget
and arowana (mark) produces the film (makes it happen).

and give how popular the _wish_ book is,
i expect mark won't struggle to find an exec producer. ]]
