I wish they would instead issue dividends. There is no clear evidence of buybacks helping the pps. Seems like COOP throwing a lot of money down the drain.

The did not announce a $200M buyback, they INCREASED the CURRENT AUTHORIZATION of the remaining stock repurchase BY ANOTHER $200M (on top if I understand it correctly)!

And they are buying back shares for many quarters now...

The announced $200 Million Stock Buyback is a big deal. Our current outstanding shares of 68 Million Shares will now be below 65 Million shares after the buyback. This is very good news for existing shareholders and should drive pps much higher.
