Is the unwritten (smart)process driven by science or medical trials or the right financial judgement or does A Mr. BIG just do some secret handshake w/ Insty's who then send the password??

More likely the industry operates with a similar set of investment standards that evolved because they have been found to work.

Currently there has been sufficient ambiguity with the AD results so far presented for the apparent risk of success to be higher than most insty's investment threshold.

Once that apparent risk is reduced the insty's will pile in.

Don't forget the larger picture.
Anavex has no approved drugs. AD has a 99.5% failure rate. Developmental biotechs have a high failure rate as companies. CNS diseases are notoriously hard. The 2-73 MOA is a completely novel approach to CNS disease treatment. The 2-73 MOA has yet to be demonstrated by an approved P3/NDA.

Given a conservative approach to risk it is easy to see why there hasn't been a big move into Anavex by the insty's..... Yet.

My question is when will the switch be thrown to open the flood gates of insty investment. Will it be when the Rett NDA is filed or will it be when the NDA is approved. Will it be when the AD NDA is filed or will it be when the AD NDA is approved.

Will different insty's have different reactions to the 4 above events?
