You are correct.

that each modulator/or modulator combo has to be removed from the wafer and undergo a "process" to get it to poll.

This is one of the most important Q's that needs to be asked at the ASM. Who has the cajones to do it?

How long does it take, what is the process flow, how many are reliable and ALL have the same in-device specs at the end?
