LR I was referring to the quarterly update. Of course the status of the initiative to succeed with full wafer poling is totally relevant to a quarterly update of the progress of their technology!

I would LOVE for this to succeed NOW because I think far more money can be made if it does than if it doesn't, and I want to be in on it. I have "just in case" call options for that very purpose.

Full wafer poling is for SCALEABILITY. You know - that thing everyone was saying was already taken care of last August? I think we now know that was not the case. That's why it is so important. RIght now, it appears -- as best as I can figure - that each modulator/or modulator combo has to be removed from the wafer and undergo a "process" to get it to poll. How long does that process take? That ultimately determines man-hours to produce one device which may then sell for - ? $1000? $5000? $45.99?

If a manual process to get the whole device to poll takes a week of baking in a microwave oven, that's far different than if they sprinkle some vodoo magic on it that only takes 10 minutes per device---again not sure if each modulator within the device needs to be separately poled or not..What if each modulator takes a full day? Yikes!

I assume that's why they would like to automate the process and apply it to all components of the wafer at the same time.

So, as it stands we don't know how many units they can make in a given amount of time, which makes all the difference between a commercially viable product and a product that costs way too much for any commercial end user to take seriously.
