STS, each "hash" is one month. So each month has roughly 4 weekly data points.

Look at the hash just to the left of "2/1/2023". That's January 2023. Start of the year. Everything is pretty much flat starting that month.

I think you might be interpreting the monthly scale incorrectly.

sts66, the periods you see on Capt's chart are for quarters. 3 month periods and should have 12 - 13 per quarter.

each tick mark on the X-Axis is 1 month. The labels are every 3-months. So the data points (weekly) have 4 or 5 per month and 12 or 13 per 3 months.
