Instead he mentions Mexico loses 3 straight but gets to continues.

The U.S. team went 3-0 in pool play while Mexico lost all three games. But Mexico advanced when the Bahamas forfeited by failing to show up.



Should be like the college WS imo. You have one bad game big deal. Yet here you get beat once and your gone? Doesn't sound right to me. That is why the playoffs are best of 5 to start.

There is a reason why the World Series is just that.....a series. Pitching matchups make it ridiculous to have a decision riding on just one game.
BTW, the Mexican team has some pretty nice ballplayers and the starter is a major league prospect.
Is it time to follow basketball and let the pros play? Considering baseball has truly become a world played game, maybe a true Professional World Series does need to be played!
