inclisaran is IV. Hard to do in GP office. You can go to outpatient IV clinic but the wait is long. If you are retired not a big deal but not very convenient for young people.
I am contemplating going on a PCSK9 to really suppress my LDL. I'd be self-paying.
I don't really have severe lipid issues with an LDL of 121, and HDL of 81, and TG of 65 (more or less, I may be misremembering the exact numbers) but I genuinely believe that LDLs <70 mg/dL or even far lower confer genuine health benefits.
Then again maybe I shouldn't be worried about this since heart disease isn't what gets anyone in my family.
