Tony , one CV drug we haven't mentioned is NVS's Inclisiran
If the price of this LDL lowering PCSK9 is ever dropped significantly ( as AMGN dropped the price of Repatha ) .....I would opt for that instead of all the alternatives ..
The appeal is 2 shots a year ( after the first year ) administered by an RN in the clinic . Once when U get your annual flu shot ...and the second scheduled 6 mths later to coincide with your annual physical.
Then you're done for the year ....at least for your LDL lowering needs.
There may be an Outcome trial under way ....haven't followed it closely lately.
Far easier for MD's to monitor adherence.
ESPR's drug is probably going to cost in the $5-$10 daily dose range
