The 10% premium is added to the principal of the loan initially not every month. In total the firm pays only about 600K in interest in a 12 million dollar loan. We are not beginning payments until November. To call this usury, extortion, or inappropriate is silly. The firm has no cash on hand, no revenue, and isn't past approval process. The fact that Fife isn't asking for shares or any collateral means he has very high confidence in Northwest Biotherapeutics management.
