Is this cone caused by the pumping of the well pulling fluids to the surface and if so, when pumping stops for a while , does the cone settle back to level and the oil/water ratio improves for a period of time?
Local, thanks, the "crude" way to separate the water and oil is obviously done because there is very little cost, just time involved. Just curious, what is the sp.gr. of the crude in that area? I would imagine it varies based on the type of crude.
