If Lanza sold the properties to BDGR, I wouldn't call that a "weak connection". I would call that a significant fact, and it's probably why the debt was vaporized or 'extinguished'. In other words, BDGR wants to wash its hands clean of the whole stinking affair that reeks of Lanza. Now BDGR would hope to be removed as a party to the OMDA suit...
