I remember a Max pain number associated with shorts... what is the max pain number for AVXL now? anyone know.... I would guess somewhere between $11.00 and $13.00. We have probably seen some covering going on lately.

If most of those shorts are phantom shares from naked shorting (FTDs), then do they ever have to cover? Just how big is the criminal loophole that the SEC allows to exist?
