Vern, then why on earth were you touting last month that the S2 was ready to be moved to Edwards via gondola or whatever, knowing good and well as you do now that it is not ready. Good grief son, your "wishy, washy" post are really becoming annoying at best!
Vern, The picture located at the bottom of the attached web link shows an airship which appears to be tethered to a red pickup truck. Using motor vehicles as a means of tether point seems to be standard practice is it not? What other tether point would be more acceptable? I would imagine the tether point would have to be moveable.
Vern it was stated the continued testing was to take place inside the hanger. It would seem feasible to me that controled testing could take place there, and be out of wind hazards way. The concept was to move to EAFB following the additional testing in the hanger.
